Episode 2 - "Surprisingly Rich"

"Fresh off her verbal smack down with Shereé, NeNe decides to take a break from Atlanta by rounding up Cynthia and Kandi for a girl's getaway weekend of fun, sun, and Lesbian Pride in Miami. Phaedra's fascination with the dead goes a step further as she explores opening her own family funeral business, but Apollo's creeped out by Phaedra's new passion. Shereé and Kim have some of their own girl time to discuss Kim and Kroy's future plans. Meanwhile, Kroy and Sweetie conspire to throw an intimate surprise bash for a very pregnant Kim's 33rd birthday, complete with expensive jewels."

Sounds like tonight's episode is gonna be all about money, sex, relationships, and drama. But, isn't that why we can't stop watching? Tune in tomorrow for a recap of the trainwreck

Recap: Season 4, Episode 1 "Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained"

The first episode of the new season started off with a whimper, then things started to pick up the pace, courtesy of our Miss Nene, of course. She's flashing her new found "Trump Money" buying cars for cash, and letting Sheree know (at the top of her lungs) how "rich" she is. Be careful Nene, pride cometh before a fall...

Is it just me, or did Lawrence's singing voice deteriorate over the summer? He sounded good last season, but now he just sounds like karaoke night at the local bar.

Kim is super pregnant and still super annoying, with Sweetie in tow. If it wasn't for the trouble she keeps stirred up with Nene, we wouldn't need her on the show at all. Now then again, I could be wrong, maybe she loves her Baby Daddy and isn't really in it for the money. Now then again, pigs might fly...

Kandi, Kandi, Kandi. She has started her own line of "adult toys". Um...okay...most singers branch out into acting or writing, or something creative like that. In addition to her late night internet sex show, Kandi now wants us to buy things from her that hum and vibrate. Good luck with that girl, good luck.

Dwight was MIA this episode, which is a shame cause I miss him. Bring back Miss Thang!!!

Phaedra...wait for it...is an aspiring FUNERAL DIRECTOR. K, first of all, how ghetto is it to have music blasting from your hearse as it rolls down the street. Secondly, this job takes some people skills class, poise, and decorum. I think that pretty much leaves Phaedra out in the cold, up the creek without a paddle, basically just SOL. That girl needs a real hobby...

Glad the girls are back for another drama filled season. My Drama Forecast? Phaedra will screw up someone's funeral, Nene will realize that you need your friends, cause the money comes and goes, Kandi will lose interest in the "massagers" and find a real side business and when Kim gives birth to that baby it will be even more dramatic than Phaedra's...stay tuned for the drama...

It's Time! We had a look at the ladies' backstories last week with "Before They Were Housewives" and this week there was a sneak preview of what kind of drama we can expect this season. But tonight at 10/9 CST, we finally begin season four!

Okay fellow bloggers, True, he's not a punk. But he is a jerk.

Not just for what he said about the other housewives (glass houses, ladies, glass houses), but for the way the treats and talks to Cynthia.

What was he doing being interviewed in the first place? Does anyone besides his wife really care what he has to say?

Real-Housewives-of-Atlanta-Grown-Ass-Women

Last night was an extra-long episode (1 hour and 15 minutes),  and the Housewives showed up and showed out:

Nene: . Why did she get off the bus complaining about all the people Kim brought, instead of supporting her "friend" Cynthia? She spend every minute she could bad-mouthing Kim and Sweetie to EVERYBODY. Then had a fit when she found out Lawrence was gonna be there too? Sounds like she was jealous cause she didn't think of bringing somebody first. BAM!

Kim: Hopefully over the break she will leave Nene and the singing alone, find something she is good at, and stop flirting with old gay men. She thinks Thomas is gonna be the new "Big Poppa"???  Um...I think he likes little more fruit on his dessert, k?

Sheree: Was actually making some sense this episode! That girl might be a little smarter than I thought she was. She got the girls to exercise, asked for a room away from Kim and Nene's drama and said that Nene needs to mind her business. Okay, you can come back next season, as long as we don't have to watch you dance again.

Cynthia: I sure hope your marriage works out better than your friendships...tell us again why Nene is your BFF??? Spend your free time working on your relationship with Peter and your finances; enjoy being a newlywed and let Nene do whatever it is that Nene does.

WHO IS THE REAL WINNER?

I am going to start my two cents with Kandi, when I saw how hyped she was when she lost the race I was like “are you serious.” That girl was hyped up like she had some “speed” or something on that level of an “upper.” Did anyone see her eyes and how she was really hype, I was like Sheree, you lost get over it, and I am not going to mess up tires for you, you lost, chew it up, swallow it and poop it out.

Nene should be staying home in the bed and figuring out what she wants to do, I am sorry if you guys don’t agree with me, but I think that she needs to be out of the lime light for a spell, she needs to reevaluate her marriage, her life, her present and her future. You are upstairs and your husband is in the basement. I know that if I was her once I figure out what I want, and we all no it is not hard, especially when you love someone, you better just take a step back and figure something out. She don’t have to go to the basement, but she can call him to the middle and she can meet in the middle and they both need to address what is going on with each other and leave the TV show to wonder what is going on, this is a serious matter and reality TV needs to step back and let the two of them decide what they need, so bump the ratings on Nene and Gregg, marriage is something not to be taken lightly at all, especially 13 years of it, and there are two children involve.

Peter was right to tell his soon to be wife that she needs not to be talking to Nene everything he comes home from a long day at work. If it was me Peter, I would be waiting for you to come home with nothing but my birthday suit on and giving you some loving to help ease your mind from a long, hard, stressful day at work. I also agree when he said that she needs to not give advice but just listen to her. She better watch out before she be sitting on her bed looking like a hot mess.

Sheree may only get in the door because she has done reality TV, but in my open when one gets on a reality show, who really takes them serious when it comes to real talent?
In my opinion she can’t act that well, but she will be good for a low budget film, or another reality show because those are for ratings only, lol.

Kim, that was kind of dumb, you bring your ex lover to an event with a bunch of busy bodies and you don’t want her to talk to anyone, again this proves my point Kim is the comic relief of the show.

But Phaedra is runner up, I agree with you ya on that, she almost dropped her baby when he pooped on her, now that was messed up, you are new mother, your reaction to that was un-called for, you should have known better but I keep forgetting we talking about someone who don’t know what maternal instinct is. I also agree the poses for those pictures were “stupid” I mean “stupid” it was dangerous in my book, that was like the situation when Michael Jackson held his baby over the balcony , and he was holding the baby, come on now, she and he needs some parenting classes, more so her then him.

I am with you on this one,,,,,, Where is Dwight, are you in the shop, did you fall in love, or are you working on your own show?

I don’t know what to forecast right now, but I will say this, Kim is a joke, and so is Phaedra, she has to hurry up and do something before she be cast off, but I do recall a preview showing her trying to confront someone. Kandi needs to step up her game, she is kinda boring, she needs to bring something to the table because her rating is a little bland. Now that I am thinking about Cynthia and Peter will be having some problems, because she is not paying enough attention to her man, and he don’t know how to tell her do that with out being bossy, but hey she must like it because she is doing what he says, lol.

Atlanta-Housewives-Are-Taking-Sides

Nene: Her friend Diana had to go to her house and get her out of bed, cause she was depressed about the drama with her husband. Gregg was in the wrong, why you lettin that man steal your joy? And what is up with her and Peter??? Last week Nene loved him, this week Peter hates Nene. Peter might be feeling a little solidarity with Gregg, you know how men stick together...

 

 

Sheree: Doesn't want to be in a play unless she gets paid. YOU ARE NOT AN ACTRESS. You have to pay your dues to break into the business just like everyone else. If you need a paycheck for your "Grown-up bills" then get a real job!

 

 

Kim: How much longer do we have to listen to her howling set to music? And now she wants to dance too??? Heaven help us all...

 

 

Phaedra: That fool almost dropped that baby cause he pooped on her, then had the nerve to say he knew better. And parents take note, dangling your baby is NOT cute. It's dangerous...idiots...

 

 

Kandi: She didn't like Kim's singing (again) and she lost a car race. Why is she on this show again?

 

 

Dwight: Didn't show up again this week, but he was in the previews for the next episode, snitching on stuff Cynthia said about Phaedra's "alien baby". Stay tuned...

 

 

Cynthia: Yes, Nene, She is a puppet. There's nothing wrong with your man telling you he wants your undivided attention; there is something wrong with him telling you that you can't talk to your friends on the  phone unless he's at work. Nene is going through some stuff and needs her friends to rally. Don't let Peter stop that, you might need those friends when things don't work out with the two of you!

 

I forecast: So Kim can't sing, Sheree can't act, Phaedra can't handle a baby, Nene can't get her husband to communicate with her, Dwight can't be bothered to be on the show, and Kandi and Cynthia can't do anything at all that's interesting. Okay,

Kandi wants to be cellibate and not have sex, but she wants to talk about all the details of sex on "Kandi Koated Nights" while watching a gay male stripper. She can talk the talk, but not walk the walk. You know what they say: Those who can't do, teach. Kandi's freak number must be -27. BAM! By the way Kandi, let Kim go and find a REAL singer. Um....Not Lawrence, k???

Cynthia spent most of the last two episodes talking about how she doesnt want to get married, as she tried on wedding gowns, hired a celebrity wedding planner and tasted food from exclusive caterers. She is just stringing Peter along, cause we all know there isn't gonna be a wedding. She needs to go ahead and stop spending money on a fake wedding and spending more time being real with her man. BAM!

Sheree: Good for you for letting "Dr.Love" go. He got his fifteen minutes of fame and probably would not have lasted much longer than that anyway. He was a fake doctor, a fake player, and I think he would have been a fake lover. Like you told Lawrence, "That is over and done with, Next!" BAM!

Kim: is stringing Big Poppa along, staying in touch with her "Lesbian Lover", pregnant by a football player, and paying her daughter (she bought Brielle a $3,000.00 Abstinence ring) to not have sex before she is 18. She needs a new assistant, someone who can assist her with getting some common sense. BAM!

Phaedra: Says she's not fancy free anymore, now she's chained to "this baby" who doesn't "do anything". Mabe you should let your clueless husband take care of the baby. Apollo is used to being chained. BAM!

Nene: Get over yourself. You have been telling the whole world you wanna divorce Gregg, but when he tells someone he wants to divorce you, all of a sudden you are all wounded. True, he did it live on internet radio, but you did it on national TV. Gregg did it by mistake, you signed up for it. Stop putting your business out there and take care of your marriage. The whole world shouldn't know that you think you married a damn monster. "Dogs don't bark at parked cars". BAM!

I forecast: Kim will make us laugh, Kandi will make us yawn, Cynthia will make us cross our fingers and Phaedra and Nene will make us pray. Stay tuned...

Options, how crazy are you Nene, You want to know what your options are, you don’t want to tell anyone, but you are on TV talking about your marriage, come on now, Nene, you went to see an attorney, you have been telling just about everyone that you come in contact with that you are thinking about divorcing him, what is up with that?
But you don’t want to tell anyone, you are not trying to hurt him, what the hell are you trying to do, because in my opinion, I would have went to him and told him what you are thinking about doing before you go and see an attorney, because if you file for divorce that is telling me that you want an divorce. Keep it real,
Kandi, I really think that you should cut your loses with Kim, you didn’t make anything off Tardy for the party, give that new song to someone else, who would appreciate it.

Omg, did you see how she look at her child, omg, did you hear that trick say we will see how this turns out, that is crazy, omg, You are not allow to lift your own baby, because you had a c-section, are you kidding me, omg, did she say babies are colder than regular people, she is so backwards, as you can see your baby is hot, in all that stuff.

But in all honesty, I can see where he feels that the fame got to her head.
That was messed up that she saw the article, on her first day, and it is true, “Dogs don’t bark at parked cars”, Karma is real, Nene, you were telling everyone about you and Gregg, you didn ‘t even tell him about your plastic surgery, all I can say on that is Karma is real.
Nene is fed up and so is Gregg, it is a sad, sad situation, I honestly feel bad for the both of them.
We are on Dr. Love, no that bastard didn’t say to Sheree, you say you are a woman, how dare him, that is crazy, what a come back, he couldn’t come up with anything better than that? He is crazy, he is A FAKE, I wish I could ask that idiot, how in the hell was Sheree suppose to prove that she is a woman, he is an idiot, what did that idiot expect her to prove to him, then he thought he was doing something walking away, like he had the last laugh, do he not know, now he is out there again on blast, ha, ha, Dr Love.
I forecast, we haven’t seen the last of Dr. Love, and when we do Sheree will get the last word, I forecast Nene and Gregg going to counseling, Phaedra and her new baby, omg, I just forecast me being shocked as to what this new mother will say next, she is really crazy, how can she not know what to do when it comes to her baby, I am tired of talking about that situation. Sheree getting fired, ok, can’t wait to see it next Sunday.

"MATERNAL DEATH"

I want to apologize to all our blog readers for getting my 2 cents in late. When I saw last week episode, I was like omg, did that so called lawyer say that, did Phaedra really say, "MATERNAL DEATH" is she really that stupid. How did she pass the exam to become a lawyer. Why in the hell you would want to say Maternal Death on tv about your new baby, omg, that was sooooooooooo stupid, she looked like a southern fool.

Dr. Love got busted, ok, lets see how that flies, but in my personal opinion, Sheree had to know that he wasn't all that to begin with when she told Kim that he was staying at the Holiday Inn, which in my book is expensive to me, but hey I am just a little person, in this big world. LOL,

I would like to stay at the Holiday Inn, lol, it is not too bad, enough of that.

Peter, Peter, Nene loves ya, I forecast some innocent flirting going that way, Nene already admitted that Peter, is all that and a bag of chips. Cynitha better keep her game tight, because who knows Peter may "blame it on the alcohol." lol, I am joking, lol, maybe not.

I can't wait to see what Gregg said to make Nene cry, he probably told her that he wants a divorce or he found someone else to give him what he needs which is a "Wife." Not someone who tells there business to everyone.

To keep it real there is just some things that shouldn't be said, forget the ratings, when a marriage is about to end, the entertainment, money, etc, needs to be on the back burner and the marriage and family needs to come first, but hey, I am one who is waiting for the new episode to come on.

Kim, again you are the comic relief on the show, does anyone really takes you serious.

Dwight, showed that he is not in the mix of gossip when they tried to grill him on how far long is his homegirl, I like the way he keep it real, but it did come out in the end. 40 weeks and it is time to face reality.

What I don't get is why in the world Phaedra had to lie about it, I need to google why is it sooooooo wrong for a grown ass woman to have a baby out of wed-lock, but then again with her and her "maternal death" quote, I see that she really is missing a few sandwiches out of the picnic basket.

I can't wait to see and hear what she has to say on this upcoming episode. I wonder.
